Sunnah muakkadah is a sunnah that the holy prophet never left. As such it is very close to wajibs (obligatoires). We are obliged to complete the 12 sunnahs muakkadahs daily, to read salaat of eclipse and taraweehs as such. In the contrary we would be responsible. The proof of importance is found in the hadith mentioning the importance of sunnahs before Jum`ah salaah. Please read it in our Jum`ah book on web.
