Bismihi Ta`ala

*THE MIGHT OF ALLAH TA`ALA OVER US.*

*Allah Ta`ala has created and has control over each and every atom in the universe. Continuously in the Quran, Allah Ta`ala reminds us of his quality of Mightiness; Qadeer. I counted at least 38 times.*

وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِير [آل عمران : 189]

‘’_*And for Allah alone is the absolute reign of the skies and the earth. And Allah has absolute power over every single thing_*.’’(3:189)

*So we humans should know that when we are walking on the earth, we should be humble and fearsome of Allah Ta`ala`s wrath that may befall upon us anytime and from any avenue. Every step is a grace from Allah. Every breath is another chance from Allah.*

أَأَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ (16) أَمْ أَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ (17) [الملك : 16 ، 17]

‘’_*Have you become fearless of Him who is in the sky if He makes you sink into the earth, and it starts trembling at once?_* 

*_Or, have you become fearless of Him who is in the sky if He looses a violent wind with stones against you? So, you will soon come to know how was My warning!_*”

 (67:17-18)

*To remind us of His Might, Allah Ta`ala make us go through unwanted trials.*

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَنَبْلُوكُمْ بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ  [الأنبياء : 35]

 “_*Every one has to taste death, and We test you through bad and good (situations) with a trial, and to Us you are to be returned._* 

[21:35)

*These trials are not meant to make us despondent, happy or sad, but rather test our reaction during these trials. And remind us that we are being watched closely from above. All actions, reactions and whispers are recorded and will be accounted for.*

فَأَمَّا الْإِنْسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِ (15) وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ (16) [الفجر : 15 ، 16]

“*_As for man, when his Lord tests him, and thus gives him honour and bounties, he says, .My Lord has honoured me._*

*_But when he tests him, and thus straitens his provision for him, he says, .My Lord has disgraced me._*.”(89:16-17)

*Today the world with all its amenities is facing inflation, economic difficulties and unexpected social traumas. Allah Ta`ala reminds us that none can help us through except Him. Whatever financial difficulties, we should address Him only.*

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لَكُمْ رِزْقًا فَابْتَغُوا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الرِّزْقَ وَاعْبُدُوهُ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ  [العنكبوت : 17]

“*_You only worship idols beside Allah, and you invent a lie. In fact those whom you worship beside Allah do not have power to give you provision. So seek provision with Allah and worship Him and be grateful to Him. To Him you are to be returned._*”(29:18)

*The sunnah teaches us to have recourse to Salaah, Du`as and sadaqahs(to our means) to get out of the financial crisis.*

لِيُنْفِقْ ذُو سَعَةٍ مِنْ سَعَتِهِ وَمَنْ قُدِرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ فَلْيُنْفِقْ مِمَّا آتَاهُ اللَّهُ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا مَا آتَاهَا سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا  [الطلاق : 7]

“_*A man of vast means should spend according to his vast means. And anyone whose sustenance is limited should spend from whatever Allah has given to him. Allah makes no one liable beyond what He has given to him. Allah will soon bring ease after a difficulty_*.(65:17)

.*All this to tell you that when sahabahs complained to Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam about inflation, telling him to fix prices, Rasouloullah swalallahou alaihi wasallam answered : “Know that Allah Ta’ala is the One who fix prices. HE IS THE ONE THAT SQUEEZE THE ECONOMY. AND HE IS THE ONE THAT WIDEN THE ECONOMY. HE IS THE NOURISHER.*”

عَنْ أنَسٍ قالَ: غَلا السِّعْرُ عَلى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ، فَقالُوا: يا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، سَعِّرْ لَنا، فَقالَ «إنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ المُسَعِّرُ، القابِضُ، الباسِطُ، الرَّزّاقُ، وإنِّي لَأرْجُو أنْ ألْقى رَبِّي ولَيْسَ أحَدٌ مِنكُمْ يَطْلُبُنِي بِمَظْلِمَةٍ فِي دَمٍ ولا مالٍ»:

ترمذي

*Then he said that he would make du’as though.(Abu Dawood)*

حَدَّثَنِي العَلاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أبِيهِ، عَنْ أبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أنَّ رَجُلًا جاءَ، فَقالَ: يا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، سَعِّرْ، فَقالَ: «بَلْ أدْعُو

ابو داود

*So the solution of economic and financial crisis is to obey Allah Ta’ala, be regular with 5 salaah n tahajjud, spend Sadaqahs according to your means and also make du’as.*
