*THE GOODNESS OF MILK.*
Reported in Musnad Ahmad and Darul Qutni that Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam said: ‘’Allah Ta`ala has not made a sickness but has also made its corresponding cure. So use lot of cow`s milk, because the cow eats from all tree leaves.’’(Musnad Ahmad)

The above hadith indicate that there are many shifa that Allah Ta`ala has put in tree leaves. And the animal that is not selective in eating tree leaves is Cow. It eats all tree leaves and hence produces a milk that has ingredients of all the goodness and cure of these tree leaves.
Allah Ta`ala says: ‘’Surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle. We provide you, out of what lies in their bellies between feces and blood, the beverage of milk, pure and pleasant for those who drink.’’(16:66) It is the miracle of Allah Ta`ala that we see cows eat green leaves, drink transparent water, have red blood and yet produces between the cow dung and their blood a whitish liquid that does not smell dung nor does it taste dung nor blood, but the miracle of milk. We could recognize the magnificence of Allah Ta`ala by merely looking at a glass of milk. He is High All Knowing, the Creator that marvels.
Reported in Bukhari that Hazrat Aisha ra said that more than two months consecutively, there was absolutely no food cooked in the houses of Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam. There was only water and dates at home and sometimes they would receive milk as gift from their ansaar neighbours.

Reported in Abu Dawood that Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam instructed us to supplicate Allah Ta`ala when being fed anything besides milk:
Allahoumma barik lana fihi wa at`imna khairam minhou.
O Allah! Put barakah for us in it and feed us even better.
But when drinking milk, then say:
Allahoumma barik lana fihi wa zidna minhou.
O Allah! Put barakah for us in it and give us more of milk.(Abu Dawood)
Then he Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam said: ‘’Nothing excels in being at the same time a beverage and a food, other than milk.’’(Abu Dawood)

During the Mi`raj/Israa, when Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam chose to drink milk instead of wine, Hazrat Jibra-eel as congratulated him that he has chosen the ‘’the best religious way/ Fitrah.’’(Bukhari)
Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam stated that his drinking of milk in one of his dream means Islamic education that he drank fully and then passed the rest to Hazrat Umar ra.(Bukhari) Finally, there will be rivers of water, honey, wine and milk in Paradise:

So milk is a beverage appreciated down here and up there also Insha Allah Ta`ala. And milk is an antidote against poison. Sunnah to drink milk 🥛. Make it a daily routine to drink it instead of tea, coffee, etc.Mufti Mackoojee
