| Bismihi Ta`ala THE FRAGILE HUMAN-KIND.The more we grow, the more we learn that we are fragile. First, when we were at inception, there could be a small factor that could stop our conceive. Going through the uterus for development, the baby development and reaching birth. From mere semen to a fully developed baby is quite an impossible transformation. And yet we went through fragile phases one after the other and we came out from our mother`s womb as a pleasant beautiful baby. Why are we made so cute in the beginning? Well it was to attract parents and others to look after us. Because at that time, we were in a fragile dependency age, incapable to eat or walk by ourselves and unable to defend ourselves. So Allah Ta`ala sent the parents and guardian to protect and look after us. Allah Ta`ala had put more love in the mother`s heart although she went through terrible pain from birth. And yet she will be the first to look for the baby for breast feeding. Allah Ta`ala has created us fragile, but He did not leave us unattended. But He cared and protected us due to our fragility.Hazrat Mowlana Ibrahim Devla d.b. says that the more dependency of a child will pull the more love and affection from the parents. As a baby, we are attended almost 24 hours round. When we grow up, then an eye is always on a 3 year old. But as we grow, then cares will be lifted progressively until independently responsible. Care still there, but to the extent of dependency.The more we learn, the more we learn that we are fragile. The human heart or brain is so fragile that if one misplaced clot of blood would struck the heart and the brain, then there can be heart attack or paralysis of the body. So fragile are we that we depend upon the good functioning of the blood stream on every beat of our heart. Allah Ta`ala has put filtering systems for the blood and other nutrients of the body such that we can breath and live normally.Talking of the fragility of man`s development, the Creator is stunned by our defiance of His orders: خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُبِينٌ [النحل : 4] The Creator says: ‘’He created man from a drop, and yet he dared to become a distinct opponent!’’(Surah Bee:verse 4)We should be thankful to Allah. How dare we defy His orders? We are fragile and He can decide anything against us taking inside our blood stream in our veins, swallow us under the earth or throwing massive meteorites upon the world.The Creator says: ‘’And We are closer to him than his jugular vein.’’(Qaaf:16)وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ [ق : 16] Indicating to him, that every pump of blood can be stopped in the middle of the jugular vein in his throat and hence cause instant death. أَأَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ (16) أَمْ أَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ [الملك : 16 ، 17] In Surah Mulk, Allah Ta`ala warn us that he can anytime submerge us in the ground. Beware that He can send from the sky at anytime a storm of stones.Scientist is still marvelled of the fact that there are millions of large rocks that roam around the solar system and yet the earth is protected from them by means of the large planet Jupiter and also by the layers of our atmosphere. But above all, we are protected from them each second on the planet by the WILL OF ALLAH TA`ALA.تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْ فَوْقِهِنَّ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيم [الشورى : 5] Had it not for the istighfaar of angels in our favour, Allah Ta`ala would have break the whole universe over us due to major sins like associating with Allah or attributing to him a son. We are so weak. If only one large meteorite would hit the earth, then this would be sufficient to terminate the human kind altogether. No life would be spared. How dare we associate with our UNIQUE CREATOR? So let`s make istighfaar for ourselves and others to alleviate our worldly conditions. Else we may doom soon. Insaan or the human kind is weak when subject to jinns/shaitaans. So Allah Ta`ala created groups of angels to protect us against the attack of jinns. We should be thankful to Allah Ta`ala on that on every second.Say Alhamdulillah on everything. The beloved prophet Swalallahou` Alaihi Wasallam used thank Allah on every sip of water, on every morcel of food, when waking up in the morning, when the sun rise, when an event occurred be it happiness or sadness and when finished relieving himself after toilets. Once hazrat Umar r.a. remarked on a paralyzed sickly person that he should be thankful to Allah Ta`ala for being able to relieve himself(toilet) normally.So much fragile we are. We are at the mercy of Allah on every second and yet we tend to forget and defy the laws of Allah?The beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Sallam set the standard of wealth, safety, health and comfortness of the human kind to the one who we would consider a very unfortunate poor person!سنن ابن ماجه – ()حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي شُمَيْلَةَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مِنْكُمْ مُعَافًى فِي جَسَدِهِ آمِنًا فِي سِرْبِهِ عِنْدَهُ قُوتُ يَوْمِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا حِيزَتْ لَهُ الدُّنْيَا The beloved prophet of Allah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam said: ‘’Whosoever wakes up in the morning in a healthy body, safe in his house and family and he has enough food for today, THEN THIS PERSON HAS BEEN BLESSED WITH ALL POSSIBLE BOUNTIES OF THIS WORLD.’’(Ibn Majah)The beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam highlighted the importance of health, safety and bare minimum of food to be thankful to Allah Ta`ala. Today, in the pursuit of wealth we have lost the favour of Allah called health and safety. ‘’Many people ignore too much of these two favours: Health and free time.’’(Bukhari)صحيح البخاري – ()عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قالقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نعمتان مغبون فيهما كثير من الناس الصحة والفراغ Health is fragile. After coming out of the protected womb, we are first exposed to the millions of germs and viruses in the air atmosphere. And yet Allah Ta`ala has equipped us from first drop of milk from breastfeeding most of our defence system for a lifetime: colostrum.Conclusion is that we are weak. A single pandemic virus made us all fear death and we are all locked up inside. Fear Allah. Because He has plenty of armies that He can unleash to finish us up. He has absolute power over every single membrane of ours and every single atom that exist in the universe.And yet He is oft forgiving and cares for us. He protects us from all angles. He protected us from inception until we are in qabr. But He has promised protection after death ONLY to those who abide to His orders in this world. So be obediently thankful to HIM.
