Be it Palestine, Syria, Myanmar, Central Africa, Bosnia or your current residing place, know that the defence of our household and our wealth resides in the hands of Allah Taala. And Allah Taala has made the means of protection of our dear ones through some specific good actions. And know that our destruction, genocide and warring situation comes because of accumulation of sins and abandonment of salaahs. Today muslims should realise this so as we all be a benefactor to our society and not an emitter of sins pollution that drive to collective wrath. Every single muslim is important to know this fact and be somehow a help to constructing the ummah again. Know that it is not government extremes, nor united nations or economic failure that brings wrath to muslims, but rather our own daily actions. So our well being depends on the obedience and time spent on deeni activities.
Allah Ta`ala says in the Qur-aan:
وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا قَرْيَةً كَانَتْ آمِنَةً مُطْمَئِنَّةً يَأْتِيهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدًا مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ فَكَفَرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ اللَّهِ فَأَذَاقَهَا اللَّهُ لِبَاسَ الْجُوعِ وَالْخَوْفِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ
‘‘Allah gives an example: There was a town, secure and content with its sustenance coming in plenty from every place. Then, it turned ungrateful to the bounties of Allah;so, Allah made it to taste hunger and terror(that covered it) like a garment, as recompense of what its people used to do.’’(16:112)
فَخَلَفَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَوَاتِ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا
‘’Then came after them a generation that abandoned salaah and follow their (selfish) desires. So they will soon face the outcome of their deviation.’’(19:59)
We can see that abandonment of salaah brings all instability in social and economic standard of living. Whereas giving time in masjids waiting for salaahs is the defence against all social disruptions:
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فَذَلِكُمْ الرِّبَاطُ صحيح مسلم
The beloved prophet Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam said: ‘‘Shouldnt I inform you on what Allah Ta`ala will erase sins and also that will elevate your ranks? ..:wouzu meticulously done even in unpleasant conditions, lots of paces towards masjid and wait for another salaah after a salaah. THIS IS THE DEFENCE OF YOUR BORDER.’’ (Sahih Muslim)
So men populating masjid and spending time there is the main defence of a city. Women staying piously at home with fasting and salaah enhance a saint society.
Abandoning salaah on time will cause enemies to have upper hand over us.
Another hadith of Tabrani given below shows that the fire of sins in our society are extinguished by wouzu and walking of pious men towards masjid after azaan.(Tabrani) The firemen of the fire of society are musallis. And if the percentage of firemen are mostly sleeping, then expect that the fire will torment the whole society soon in the shape of revolts, riots, coup, genocide, etc.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بن مَسْعُودٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:يُبْعَثُ مُنَادٍ عِنْدَ حَضْرَةِ كُلِّ صَلاةٍ، فَيَقُولُ: يَا بني آدَمَ، قُومُوا فَأَطْفِئُوا عَنْكُمْ مَا أَوْقَدْتُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ، فَيَقُومُونَ فَيَتَطَهَّرُونَ وَتَسْقُطُ خَطَايَاهُمْ مِنْ أَعْيُنِهِمْ، وَيُصَلُّونَ فَيُغْفَرُ لَهُمْ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا، ثُمَّ يُوقِدُونَ فِيمَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ، فَإِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ صَلاةِ الأُولَى نَادَى: يَا بني آدَمَ، قُومُوا فَأَطْفِئُوا مَا أَوْقَدْتُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ، فَيَقُومُونَ فَيَتَطَهَّرُونَ وَيُصَلُّونَ فَيُغْفَرُ لَهُمْ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا، فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الْعَصْرُ فَمِثْلُ ذَلِكَ الطبراني في الكبير
With great pain that I recall the words of my ustaad as to Mowlana Umar Palampuri`s jamaat that visited Masjid ul Aqsa – Jerusalem – in late sixties. After Fajr salaah, Mowlana sat for bayaan. He said: ‘‘Masjidul Aqsa today had only 2 saffs of musallis for Fajr. Consequently soon the jews will have upper hand over the masjid.’’
Mowlana linked the outside power to have upper hand in relation to the low attendance of muslims in the masjid. This is the reason why Shi`as, Jews, Budhists and Christians play with muslim life around the world. Our only defence is to populate our masjid and spend some time there. As from today, do the favour to yourself and your dear ones in giving one hour to the masjid.
The Palestinian brothers should not mix two farzs salaahs there as Masjid ul Aqsa is an important masjid in Islam. Salaah should not be banalised officially there. Salaah is prescribed on its time by the Qur-aan. This is the only saviour of the muslim Ummah: we should populate our masjid and spend time there.
As the muslim ummah populate Makkah and Madinah Masjids, the ummah should help to populate Masjidul Aqsa by spending a few days there and then tie Ihraam from there to Makkah. This will help the ummah to regain the masjid and the land of Palestine.
The beloved Prophet (saw) has stated: “WHOEVER WEARS HIS IHRAAM AT MASJID Al AQSA AND PROCEEDS FOR UMRAH FROM THERE, HE WILL HAVE ALL HIS SINS FORGIVEN.” (Sahih Ibn Hibban).
عن أم سلمة قالت : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول : « من أهل من المسجد الأقصى بعمرة غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه صَحِيحِ ابْنِ حِبَّانَ
If our masjid are not populated as it is in Ramadhaan, then our city or village are in danger. Lets decide today fill our masjid ourselves and be concerned about all muslim citizens to reach the masjid at salaah times. These gashts, meetings and encouragements that tabligh brothers are really appreciable protective initiative of our area. May Allah Taala bless them all. Ameen.
