Is zakaat applicable on 30gram of gold of 18 karat, i have not measured it well maybe am telling u some more than its actual weight, its a chain n earring i have been gifted do i need to take zakaat on it?

No zakaat on 30 grams of gold. Unless you have money with you: Rs 7000 or more.
