Is there a mimimum weight for zakaat to be paid on silver jewellery? or Rs 200 for every gram irrespective of how many or how few jewellery one owns? Grateful if you could clarify this issue please.

If you have only silver in your possession, then the minimum weight is 612 gram. Under this Zakaat not applicable. But if you have money, jewelry,etc together, then add them together and take the nisaab as reference.
