Is qurbani farz or wajib? What’s the difference between the two? I’m a married woman. My father bought a house for me, but for now he is looking after it. He wants to rent it out and he will take the rent. So, is the house counted in my nisaab? Do i need to do qurbani or is it counted in my father’s account?

Qurbani is wajib and obligatory. Wajib is similar to farz except for a difference on the basis of aqeedah. That is, if a someone denies a farz, he becomes kaafir, and if he denies a wajib, than he does not become a kaafir, but a faasiq. I think that you should take a share of qurbani because you might have jewelleries etc. adding up to Rs 30 000.
