*MONDAY: THE DAY OF THE PROPHET-YAUM UN NABI.*

*The beloved prophet Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam was asked about his continuous fast on Mondays. The prophet answered: ‘‘It is because I was born a Monday and also I was firstly revealed on a Monday.’’Sahih Muslim.*

*Had there been any practice to be held in happiness of the birth of Rasouloullah, then it would have been only fasting on Mondays.*

*That Monday was really graceful upon the humanity when the light of prophecy was born in Makkah.*
*It was on a Monday during the month of Ramadhaan that the beloved prophet SAW was firstly revealed.*

*Amongst the main events of the life of Rasouloullah is Hijrah or emigration. Know that that reported in Bukhari that the beloved prophet SAW reached Madinah on a Monday:*

*That Monday brightened Madinah with joy, peace and incomparable blessings.*

*Then came the saddest day for the world. When the choice of meeting his Lord was given to him, the prophet turned back to the holy ambitions of his life and chose the destiny to meet his Lord. That day also was a Monday.(Bukhari)*  عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت

*So the day peculiar to the prophet Muhammad SAW is Monday. Sunnah to fast on Mondays and Thurdays.(Nassai)*
