Bismihi Ta`ala

*MAY THE ROADS OF HARAMAIN BE PERFUMED.*
 Allah Ta`ala has made Makkah Mukarramah the central spiritual capital for Muslims worldwide. The first piece of land that surfaced upon the sea is that portion of Ka`bah shareef in Makkah Mukarramah-Baihaqi. Hence we have been ordered that wherever we are around the globe, we should pray towards the direction of Makkah Mukarramah. All masjids around the world should face the first Masjid ever built on the surface of the earth. The roads that prophets undertook towards the pilgrimage of hajj to Makkah are sacred.وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا [البقرة : 125]Allah Ta`ala says: ‘’And when we have made the Ka`bah a central place of return for humanity and decreed it a place of security.’’(2:125)إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِلْعَالَمِين [آل عمران : 96] ‘’The very first house build for humans to worship is the one which is in Makkah. It is very blessed and is a guidance for the humanity.’’(3:96)صحيح مسلم – ()و حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَسِرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ فَمَرَرْنَا بِوَادٍ فَقَالَ أَيُّ وَادٍ هَذَا فَقَالُوا وَادِي الْأَزْرَقِ فَقَالَ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى مُوسَى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مِنْ لَوْنِهِ وَشَعَرِهِ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَحْفَظْهُ دَاوُدُ وَاضِعًا إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ لَهُ جُؤَارٌ إِلَى اللَّهِ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ مَارًّا بِهَذَا الْوَادِي قَالَ ثُمَّ سِرْنَا حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا عَلَى ثَنِيَّةٍ فَقَالَ أَيُّ ثَنِيَّةٍ هَذِهِ قَالُوا هَرْشَى أَوْ لِفْتٌ فَقَالَ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى يُونُسَ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ حَمْرَاءَ عَلَيْهِ جُبَّةُ صُوفٍ خِطَامُ نَاقَتِهِ لِيفٌ خُلْبَةٌ مَارًّا بِهَذَا الْوَادِي مُلَبِّيًاRasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam asked about a few places name on the road to Makkah. They told him the names of those places. Then Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam remarked that he was revealed that prophet Moossa a.s. and Yunus a.s. were coming for Hajj towards Makkah walking in these places with Labbaik-Sahih Muslim.شعب الإيمان – ()أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْعَلَوِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمُحَمَّدُآبَاذِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ، دِمَشْقِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ” أَوَّلُ بُقْعَةٍ وُضِعَتْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَوْضِعُ الْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ مُدَّتْ مِنْهَا الْأَرْضُجامع الأحاديث – السيوطي – (أول بقعة وضعت من الأرض موضع البيت ثم مدت منها الأرض وإن أول جبل وضعه الله على وجه الأرض أبو قبيس ثم مدت منه الجبال (الحاكم فى تاريخه ، والبيهقى ، وابن عساكر عن ابن عباس) أخرجه البيهقى فى شعب الإيمان (3/431 ، رقم 3984) ، وابن عساكر (35/133)A muslim`s heart is naturally attached to the most sacred city in the world: Makkah. A blessed place fortified by the du`as of Ibrahim a.s. to make humanity love Makkah, establish salaah in there and enjoy all fruits and necessities in there.(14:37) A fortress against the Dajaal and invaders.() Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam said when leaving Makkah towards the hijrah of Madinah: ‘’O Makkah! You are the most sacred land of Allah. The most beloved land to Allah. Have I not being forced to leave, I would have never leave you!’’(Tirmizi)سنن الترمذي – ()حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَدِيِّ ابْنِ حَمْرَاءَ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاقِفًا عَلَى الْحَزْوَرَةِ فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ إِنَّكِ لَخَيْرُ أَرْضِ اللَّهِ وَأَحَبُّ أَرْضِ اللَّهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَلَوْلَا أَنِّي أُخْرِجْتُ مِنْكِ مَا خَرَجْتُقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌSo Makkah should be loved the most. The capital of Islam that should be mostly visited. Umrah, Hajj, reading salaah and drinking ZamZam while admiring the splendour of the Ka`bah. It is the pioneering place of Imaan and Islam. And again the Islamic revival will be officialised through Al Mahdi in Makkah, by the Ka`bah during a Hajj season.Even in hard times, we should try to continue going for Hajj and Umrah. Because when Gog and Magog/Yajouj and Majouj will invade the world, we will still continue the Umrah and Hajj pilgrimage.(Bukhari) صحيح البخاري )حدثنا أحمد حدثنا أبي حدثنا إبراهيم عن الحجاج بن حجاج عن قتادة عن عبد الله بن أبي عتبة عن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنهعن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ليحجن البيت وليعتمرن بعد خروج يأجوج ومأجوج When prophet Jesus a.s. will descend from the sky, after some time he will also visit Makkah and Madinah for Hajj and Umrah(Mustadrak Hakim).Hajj and Umrah increases wealth and annihilate sins.(Tirmizi/Ibn Majah)سنن ابن ماجه – ()حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ1 بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تَابِعُوا بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ فَإِنَّ الْمُتَابَعَةَ بَيْنَهُمَا تَنْفِي الْفَقْرَ وَالذُّنُوبَ كَمَا يَنْفِي الْكِيرُ خَبَثَ الْحَدِيدِSo, Alhamdulillah, the road to Makkah have opened for locals and Insha Allah soon for internationals. So perfumed be the opened roads to Makkah, perfumed be the ones who would take that road. Remember us in your du`as.After Makkah, it is Madinah Munawarah that take the second most blessed place in the world. Containing the sacred body of Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam, ulamas write that the sanctity of the sands touching the Mubarak body of the prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam is more than the Ka`bah or even the `arsh of Allah. Because the most esteemed creation is the beloved prophet Muhammad Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam. The arsh of Allah is also the creation of Allah. So it is a mistake to give more sanctity to the Masjid An Nabawi over the beloved prophet Muhammad Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam. Because it is also reported that when prophet Jesus will come Madinah after Hajj or Umrah, he will come objectively to make salaam to Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam- Mustadrak Hakim.

عن عطاء ، مولى أم حبيبة قال : سمعت أبا هريرة ، يقول : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : « ليهبطن عيسى ابن مريم حكما عدلا ، وإماما مقسطا وليسلكن فجا حاجا ، أو معتمرا أو بنيتهما وليأتين قبري حتى يسلم ولأردن عليه » يقول أبو هريرة : « أي بني أخي إن رأيتموه فقولوا : أبو هريرة يقرئك السلام » « هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد ولم يخرجاه بهذه السياقة »مستدرك للحاكمRasouloullah SAW said: ‘’Isaa Ibn Maryam(Jesus) will come down to earth as a just ruler and as a good leader. And he will come from far large roads for Hajj or Umrah or with niyah of both. And then he would surely come to my qabr so as to present his salaam on me. And I would definitely answer his salaam.’’(Mustadrak Hakim)The Mubarak roads of Madinah are full with the Mubarak of footsteps of Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam. Every footstep of Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam is a place of barakah and blessings. So do visit Madinah Munawarrah to visit Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam, read salaah in Masjid An Nabawi, visit the qabrs of sahabahs and also to visit Masjid Quba and other places that Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam visited.Alhamdulillah, the road to Madinah has just opened today for those who have iqaamah and locals also. May those footsteps be perfumed towards the rowdah of Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam. So, until the road open for you also, until then try to send your salaam through those present there.It has been a noble practice to send salaam to Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam through someone visiting Madinah Munawwarah. It is officially reported that when Umar bin Abdul Aziz used to send administrative letters to Madinah Munawwarah, then he would tell the messenger of the letter to send salaam to Rasouloullah SAW when he reached the qabr Mubarak Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam:وعن يزيد ابن أبى سعيد المهرى قدمت على عمر بن عبد العزيز فلما ودعته قال: لى إليك حاجة: إذا أتيت المدينة سترى قبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأقره منى السلام، قال غيره وكان يبرد إليه البريد من الشام Yazid Ibn Abi Sa`eed said I came to Umar bin Abdul Aziz and then when he made my farewell(I was leaving), he told me: ‘I need to tell you something. When you reach Madinah, you will see the qabr of Rasouloullah SAW, so do say Salaam from my side to the beloved prophet SAW…’(As Shifa fi ta`rifil Huquqil Mustapha-Muzila)Durre Mansoor-Suyuti:وأخرج البيهقي عن حاتم بن مروان قال : كان عمر بن عبد العزيز يوجه بالبريد قاصداً إلى المدينة ليقرىء عنه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم السلام .Shu`abul Imaan:عَنْ حَاتِمِ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ، قَالَ: ” كَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يُوَجِّهُ بِالْبَرِيدِ قَاصِدًا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لِيُقْرِئَ عَنْهُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السَّلَامَ “Since it was famously a noble practice from Sahabas and Tabi`eens to send salaam to the qabr of Rasouloullah SAW, then it is recommended to tell someone going to Madinah to send salaam to Rasouloullah SAW. This does not negate that we read douroud and salaam on Nabi SAW from anywhere in the world.
