Bismihi Ta`ala

*Allah Ta`ala is beautiful and He likes beauty.*

*The beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam was saying that ‘’The one who has an iota of pride in his heart will not enter Jannah.’’ One Sahabah asked: ‘’A person like to wear beautiful clothes and shoes.’’ The prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam said: ‘’Allah Ta`ala is beautiful and He likes beauty. Pride is defined as denial of truth and looking down upon other people.’’(Muslim)*

*Although beauty is physical here, but know that true beauty is spiritual and interior.*

Allah Ta`ala speaks the favour of descending on us clothing to cover our bodies, but also reminds us that the protection clothing of Taqwa(against sins) is more important and better.*(7:26)

*Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas’ood r.a. used to make the following duas:*

O Allah! Cloth us with the garment of taqwa. And make us steadfast on the parole of taqwa….”*(Musannaf Abi Shaibah)

*The Qur-aan addressed almost all its injunctions in masculine verb pronoun. This is not discrimination but rather a respect of her veil. Women are dressed veiled from the general public addresses. It is the dignity of women to stay away from the eyes and intermingling of the general public.**

*She may go out, if necessary, completely veiled. She may travel over 77kms with the company of a mahram of her direct blood relation or her husband. All this for her own protection.*

*The shariah does not want the rise of rape incidents nor does it promote single parent social tragedy. Nor a filthy next generation. But rather dual parent care relationship and family values. And these are core for the development of a modern developed society that will generate better progenies for next generation. This is the beauty of Islam.*
