DEKHA DEKHI

 Bismihi Ta’ala

DEKHA DEKHI

*Most of the time of our lives are spent in quest of assets and possessions that others have. We are in a blind competition with our own kins-our own blood 🩸-, our school friends, our partners, our neighbours and acquaintances.*

*Well, just like the 6 old year son coming from a family gathering saw his cousin had a bicycle, the first dialogue when he enters home:Daddy i want a bicycle just like his!*

*Dekha Dekhi-I have seen him. So I want same.*

*These few words i am writing is to bring my attention and your attention away from such blindfolded competition before it is too late.*

*Allah Ta’ala says in the Noble Qur-aan:*

*_And know that worldly life is but a play, an amusement, and a show off of beauty, and a pride show off between yourselves, and a competition between yourselves to surpass each other in wealth and children.(57:20_)*

*It is this very worldly competition  that has deflect our attention from the preparation of the oncoming aakhirah life.*

ألْهاكُمُ التَّكاثُرُ (١) حَتّى زُرْتُمُ المَقابِرَ (٢)

*_Indeed you are distracted by the competition between yourselves to amass more wealth…until you reach your graves._*(Surah 102)

*So my dear beloved brothers and sisters, let’s put a brake to the rat race of blind folded competition of amassing and competing.*

*Rather moderately, look for halaal rozi and be satisfied with your gains and take out time for salaah, deen fikr n khidmat, tilawat, zikrullah and family quality time.*

*_Look back at today’s time spent. How much was for deen? How much was for aakhirah? And resolute to improve for tomorrow. Look back at your life. Resolute to make a change as from today_*
