*Beautify your lifestyle(Part 4)*

سورة النحل (16): آية 80]وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ سَكَناً
*_‘’Allah has made your houses a place of comfort for you_.’’(16:80*)
*Imaam Qurtubi ra, the Spanish mufassir wrote that beautifully that Alhamdulillah Allah Ta`ala created us humans that can circulate and reside in a peaceful place called home. With 4 walls and floor and ceiling, it protects us against unpleasant weathers and also keeps secrets of our inside life and movements. Because humans need to perform under the social attire and requisite and also he needs a more cosy, restful and relaxed place. Inside the house, one may wear clothes that feels relaxed and more weather adapted. But outside, we need to follow the haya etiquettes of human social life. Residents of a home, we are beautiful compared to the fish that cannot stay in one place, unlike the planets that has no home and keep roaming in their orbits, unlike the soil that cannot circulate. So home is a great beautiful favour of Allah Ta`ala. Beautify your lifestyle by staying at home and come out for salaah, necessities and travels.*

تفسير القرطبي – (10 / 152)قوله تعالى: (جَعَلَ لَكُمْ) معناه صير. وكل ما علاك فأظلك فهو سقف وسماء، وكل ما أقلك فهو أرض، وكل ما سترك من جهاتك الأربع فهو جدار، فإذا انتظمت واتصلت فهو بيت. وهذه الآية فيها تعديد نعم الله تعالى على الناس في البيوت، فذكر أولا بيوت المدن وهى التي للإقامة الطويلة. وقوله: (سَكَناً) أي تسكنون فيها وتهدأ جوارحكم من الحركة، وقد تتحرك فيه وتسكن في غيره، إلا أن القول خرج على الغالب. وعد هذا في جملة النعم فإنه لو شاء خلق العبد مضطربا أبدا كالأفلاك لكان ذلك كما خلق وأراد، لو خلقه ساكنا كالأرض لكان كما خلق وأراد، ولكنه أوجده خلقا يتصرف للوجهين، ويختلف حاله بين الحالتين، وردده كيف وأين. والسكن مصدر يوصف به الواحد والجمع   وَالْأَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَافِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ (5) وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ [النحل : 5 ، 6]

*Allah Ta`ala says: ‘’He has created cattle in which there is warmth and other benefits for you; and from them you have food. And in them there is beautiful scenery for you when you drive them home in the evening and when you take them out to graze.’’(16:6)* *Allah Ta`ala has created beautiful panorama, beautiful landscape and sceneries including the animal walking out to graze and returning to their sheds/stables. All these only for us to remember Him and thank Him.

* إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِالْعَشِيِّ الصَّافِنَاتُ الْجِيَادُ (31) فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ الْخَيْرِ عَنْ ذِكْرِ رَبِّي حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ (32) [ص : 31 ، 32]

*In Surah 38, verses 31 to 33, Allah Ta`ala mentioned how Suleiman as was marvelled with the beauty of a group of high breed horses coming such that they distracted him from the Remembrance of Allah Ta`ala before sunset. He regretted that and made tawbah to Allah Ta`ala.*

 وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ [النحل : 14]

*Allah Ta`ala talks of the controlling of a massive sea. The sea turns blue and times to times turns greenish. The beauty of the massive sea under full control of the All Mighty. Look at sea. If Allah Ta`ala can control the sea, then he can control the space, the rocks in the space. You need not worry. Because He is in control. And from inside the sea, there is food for humans and also beautiful ornaments like pearls and colourful corals.*

وَمِنَ الشَّيَاطِينِ مَنْ يَغُوصُونَ لَهُ وَيَعْمَلُونَ عَمَلًا دُونَ ذَلِكَ وَكُنَّا لَهُمْ حَافِظِينَ [الأنبياء : 82]*

Hazrat Suleiman as used to send jinns to dive for him in the sea.* *The sea is an example of vastness, enormous volume and humanly uncontrollable and yet beneficial to humanity. Think of the limitless capacity of Allah Ta`ala, His limitless knowledge, His limitless capacities and His limitless Glory.*

 قُلْ لَوْ كَانَ الْبَحْرُ مِدَادًا لِكَلِمَاتِ رَبِّي لَنَفِدَ الْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَنْفَدَ كَلِمَاتُ رَبِّي وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهِ مَدَدًا [الكهف : 109]

*Say: ‘’_If the sea were to be ink for (writing) the Glory of my Lord, the sea would have been finished (before completing the task of writing the Glory of Allah). Still if another sea is brought, then still then it would not be sufficient for the task._’’(18:109)*
*The Magnificence and Glory of Allah Ta`ala is infinite.*
*He has made such a sea that has served, fed, transported, posted honestly, cleaned and purified humans and human wastes for thousands of years. And yet, it does not smell bad, nor did it become saturated. The sea is a beautiful creation of Allah Ta`ala. Beautify your lifestyle by remembering Allah Ta`ala on seeing every favour of Allah Ta`ala.*
*Note:have been observing the sea  for more than 40 years now Alhamdulillah. I conclude that the rise of sea level theory is a lie. The sea is in constant control of Allah Ta’ala.*
