Bismihi Ta’ala
*Beautify your lifestyle-Part 6.*
*Someone asked Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam: “Who is the most fortunate person?” Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam answered:*“*_One who has had a lengthy lifespan and beautified his life path with good actions._*”
*Whereas the most unfortunate person is the one who had a lengthy lifespan and spoiled his days and nights with sinful actions.*(Tirmizi)
حَدَّثَنا أبُو حَفْصٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قالَ: حَدَّثَنا خالِدُ بْنُ الحارِثِ، قالَ: حَدَّثَنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أبِي بَكْرَةَ، عَنْ أبِيهِ، أنَّ رَجُلًا قالَ: يا رَسُولَ اللهِ أيُّ النّاسِ خَيْرٌ، قالَ: مَن طالَ عُمُرُهُ، وحَسُنَ عَمَلُهُ، قالَ: فَأيُّ النّاسِ شَرٌّ؟ قالَ: مَن طالَ عُمُرُهُ وساءَ عَمَلُهُ.هَذا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.سنن الترمذي
*We have been created to peacefully worship Allah Ta’ala. We are compelled to promote this main objective of our creation and to defend its borders. And if we need to fight for that, we will do so. But remember that the objective is not to constantly fight nor to constantly defend. Rather to establish peaceful worship of Allah Ta’ala every corner of the world 
. Hijrah or emigration becomes necessary when peaceful worship lifestyle cannot be achieved locally. So we need to emigrate to an area where peaceful worship can be done.*
*This was the reason why Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam left Makkah to settle in Madinah Munawarah. Although Makkah Mukarramah is the most sacred area on the surface of the earth 
. And yet he abandoned it due to constant persecutions to settle in a peaceful Madinah Munawarah where openly worship could be done.*
*Reported in Abu Dawood that Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam explained during his after Esha visits to his guests of Thaqeef that He and His companions were troddened in Makkah and that is why hijrah was made to Madinah. One night Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam visited them later than usual because He had to complete reading his hizb of Quran.*
أوْسُ بْنُ حُذَيْفَةَ – قالَ: قَدِمْنا عَلى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي وفْدِ ثَقِيفٍ، قالَ: فَنَزَلَتِ الأحْلافُ عَلى المُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، وأنْزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَنِي مالِكٍ فِي قُبَّةٍ لَهُ – قالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: وكانَ فِي الوَفْدِ الَّذِينَ قَدِمُوا عَلى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِن ثَقِيفٍ – قالَ: كانَ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ يَأْتِينا بَعْدَ العِشاءِ يُحَدِّثُنا، – وقالَ أبُو سَعِيدٍ: قائِمًا عَلى رِجْلَيْهِ حَتّى يُراوِحُ بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ مِن طُولِ القِيامِ – وأكْثَرُ ما يُحَدِّثُنا ما لَقِيَ مِن قَوْمِهِ مِن قُرَيْشٍ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: «لا سَواءَ كُنّا مُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مُسْتَذَلِّينَ»، – قالَ مُسَدَّدٌ بِمَكَّةَ -، فَلَمّا خَرَجْنا إلى المَدِينَةِ كانَتْ سِجالُ الحَرْبِ بَيْنَنا وبَيْنَهُمْ، نُدالُ عَلَيْهِمْ ويُدالُونَ عَلَيْنا، فَلَمّا كانَتْ لَيْلَةً أبْطَأ عَنِ الوَقْتِ الَّذِي كانَ يَأْتِينا فِيهِ، فَقُلْنا -لَقَدْ أبْطَأْتَ عَنّا اللَّيْلَةَ، قالَ: «إنَّهُ طَرَأ عَلَيَّ جُزْئِي مِنَ القُرْآنِ، فَكَرِهْتُ أنْ أجِيءَ حَتّى أُتِمَّهُ»، قالَ أوْسٌ: سَألْتُ أصْحابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَيْفَ يُحَزِّبُونَ القُرْآنَ، قالُوا: ثَلاثٌ، وخَمْسٌ، وسَبْعٌ، وتِسْعٌ، وإحْدى عَشْرَةَ، وثَلاثَ عَشْرَةَ، وحِزْبُ المُفَصَّلِ وحْدَهُ،سنن ابي داود
*In fact, our lifelong effort should be to beautify and improve our ibaadahs and worship.*
*Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam hold Hazrat Mu’az ra hand and told him”_O Mu’az! By Allah! I really like you!” …and don’t you miss to make this du’as after every salaah_:*
اللَّهُمَّ أعِنِّي عَلى ذِكْرِكَ، وشُكْرِكَ، وحُسْنِ عِبادَتِكَ
*Allahoumma A’innee ‘ala zikrika wa shoukrika wa husni ‘ibaadatika*.
“*O Allah! Help me up in accomplishing Your remembrance, and also help me in being grateful to You and also help me in beautifying the ibaadahs/servitude to You.”(Abu Dawood)*
عَنْ مُعاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، أنَّ رَسُولَ صَلّى عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ أخَذَ بِيَدِهِ، وقالَ: «يا مُعاذُ، واللَّهِ إنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ، واللَّهِ إنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ»، فَقالَ: «أُوصِيكَ يا مُعاذُ لا تَدَعَنَّ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاةٍ تَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ أعِنِّي عَلى ذِكْرِكَ، وشُكْرِكَ، وحُسْنِ عِبادَتِكَابو داود
*Beautify yourself with perfecting your ibaadahs and improving your salaah and zikrullah concentration and devotion.*
