 *BE APPRECIATED.*

*One want to be appreciated and content in one’s environment. The secret is that you should have a good relationship with your Creator to achieve that.**Hazrat Umar ra wrote to Abu Musa ra that :”One who concentrate on perfecting the relationship between him and His Lord, then Allah Ta’ala will improve his inter relationship with people.”*(Nassai)
قالَ أخْرَجَ إلَيْنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أبِي بُرْدَةَ كِتابًا وقالَ: «هَذا كِتابُ عُمَرَ إلى أبِي مُوسى رضي الله عنه، فَذَكَرَ الحَدِيثَ وفِيهِ قالَ:» ثُمَّ إيّاكَ والضَّجَرَ والقَلَقَ والتَّأذِّيَ بِالنّاسِ، والتَّنَكُّرَ بِالخُصُومِ فِي مَواطِنِ الحَقِّ، الَّتِي -[]- يُوجِبُ اللهُ تَعالى بِها الأجْرَ، ويُكْسِبُ بِها الذُّخْرَ، فَإنَّهُ مَن يُصْلِحْ سَرِيرَتَهُ فِيما بَيْنَهُ وبَيْنَ رَبِّهِ، أصْلَحَ اللهُ ما بَيْنَهُ وبَيْنَ النّاسِ، ومَن تَزَيَّنَ لِلنّاسِ بِما يَعْلَمُ اللهُ مِنهُ خِلافَ ذَلِكَ يُشِنْهُ اللهُ، فَما ظَنُّكَ بِثَوابِ غَيْرِ اللهِ فِي عاجِلِ الدُّنْيا، وخَزائِنِ رَحْمَتِهِ؟ والسَّلامُ “السنن الكبرى للبيهقي 
*So if you want to be accepted and honored by people, stop sinning, acquit everyone his due right and due inheritance share, be polite, increase your imaan on Allah Ta’ala and increase your a’maals/salaah and keep an intimate moment for tahajjud crying and supplicating.**Summary: If you are well connected to Allah Ta’ala, then your connection with people will improve. If you find people distancing or despise you, then look for the reason amongst your doubts on Allah Ta’ala and also sins spilling from you.*
