*ADD MORE ISTIGHFAAR PLEASE

* *Due to forceful conditions of the pandemic, certain health conscious environment have enforced Masks during salaah*. *Normally to wear masks during salaah is Makrooh. But the cyclonic condition of the pandemic is a valid excuse and hence we are excused due to that. But still, due to wearing of masks , we should add more istighfaars after salaahs.**Reported in Muslim shareef that Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam used to read 3 times Astaghfirullah after Farzs salaahs*:

عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا انْصَرَفَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ اسْتَغْفَرَ ثَلَاثًا وَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ تَبَارَكْتَ ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِقَالَ الْوَلِيدُ فَقُلْتُ لِلْأَوْزَاعِيِّ كَيْفَ الْاسْتِغْفَارُ قَالَ تَقُولُ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَمسلم 

*These 3 istighfaars are to cover up for the short comings of the salaah or to polish somehow the salaah offered to Allah Ta`ala.*
*We are recommended to add more istighfaars in case of wearing masks during Salaah.**Reported in Abu Dawood that when sahabahs were in a compelled situation, then they would do the necessity and do istighfaars afterwards.

*سنن أبى داود – (1 / 13)حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ رِوَايَةًقَالَ إِذَا أَتَيْتُمْ الْغَائِطَ فَلَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ بِغَائِطٍ وَلَا بَوْلٍ وَلَكِنْ شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوافَقَدِمْنَا الشَّامَ فَوَجَدْنَا مَرَاحِيضَ قَدْ بُنِيَتْ قِبَلَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَكُنَّا نَنْحَرِفُ عَنْهَا وَنَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ

*They found themselves in a Christian country where the toilets were towards qiblah. So they would dwarf themselves away from the qiblah, do toilet and then do istighfaars after that.**This is not a licence to do any evil and then do istighfaars. But rather if we find ourselves in forceful circumstances, then do ask ulamas for maslas. But in the mask  issue, wear it and add more istighfaars after that.*
*Istighfaar is for a cover up, for reparation, a pardon and also a touch to improve and perfect the amal done.*
*Likewise if during Ihraam you wore mask for less than 12 hours then give 10 riyals sadaqah and add istighfaars. And if wore 12 hours or more, then give a sheep in Mina with added istighfaar.**All these difficulties around us are because of sins. So istighfaar on your behalf and on behalf of the Ummah at large will insha Allah surely contribute to the improvement of these conditions.*
