UPKEEP OUR EXTERNAL BEAUTY- Part 3.
I want to share a very emotional part between Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam and his daughter Fatimah r.a. When she was still a small girl in Makkah, she was mature enough to come defend his father in front of those who mock and hurt the beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam.

Reported in Bukhari that Abu Jahl and his vile friends made a plot to put the intestines of a slaughtered camel over the prophet when he was in Sajdah, doing salaah in the shadow of the Ka`bah. And they started to mock at the prophet because he was immobilized in Sajdah. And no one dared come to take it out because the chiefs of Makkah was mockingly watching. Finally, small Fatimah r.a. came and took it out with great pain. The beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam then cursed Abu Jahl and his friends. All of them was killed in Badr by the hands of muslims. That was small Fatimah looking for her father around in Makkah and she would come defend her father or bring water for him. And then came a day that the daughter of the prophet burst in cries when she saw the prophet`s face and clothing have taken fatigue and changed colour from his travel/expedition in the path of Allah. The prophet of Allah Swalalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam told her: ‘’O Fatimah! Don`t cry. Because Allah Ta`ala has sent your father with a religion that will enter all houses/tents on the surface of the earth, either to honour or to rule upon them…’’(Tabrani)حياة الصحابة – الكاندهلوي – (وأخرج الطبراني وأبو نُعيم في الحلية والحاكم عن أبي ثعلبة الخُشَني قل: قدم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من غَزاة له، فدخل المسجد فصلى فيه ركعتين وكان يعجبه إذا قدم من سفر أن يدخل المسجد فيصلي فيه ركعتين يُثَنِّي بفاطمة ثم أزواجه ــــ فقدم من سفره مرة فأتى فاطمة فبدأ بها قبل بيوت أزواجه، فاستقبلته على باب البيت فاطمة فجعلت تقبل وجهه ــــ وفي لفظ: فاه ــــ وعينيه وتبكي، فقال لها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم «ما يبكيك؟»
A daughter who has seen all this and famine upon her father now sees the father lying on the bed, near to leave this world. On Monday morning, the beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam called Fatimah r.a. Seeing her father in the state of agony of death, she started saying: ‘’O my father! How much sufferings on you!’’ The beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam whispered to her: ‘’There will be no more pain on your father after this day’’-Bukhari.
This is the history of a daughter who was inside and outside the copy of the prophet Muhammad Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam. The news of her father leaving brought her in tears. So the father whispered to the daughter: ‘’You will be the one who will join me the soonest..’’ announcing her about her death soon in her youthful life of around 25 years old and there the daughter smiled and she became happy! That news marvelled her!She passed away six months only after Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam. The prophet called her‘’an integral part of me.’’-Muslim.
This is the history of a man who still bring tears in his disciples after 14 centuries. He is a true prophet with perfection of divine obedience and a perfect co-relationship with his family members. He amassed no wealth for his family. Rather he said: ‘’Whatever I have left is for charity purpose.’’Say God is One and Muhammad is His prophet.Let`s come to the subject of upkeeping external beauty. First of all, know that Allah Ta`ala has told us to wear our garments properly when going masjids, especially tawaaf of the Ka`bah:
Allah Ta`ala says: ‘’O children of Adam, take on your garment at every Masjid.’’(7:31)That is why some fuqahas have stated that it is makrooh to read salaah with clothing that has no external beauty and are normally kept for outdoor or indoor works:حاشية الطحطاوي على مراقي الفلاح – ()وتكره الصلاة في ثياب البذلة ) الظاهر أن الكراهة للتنزيه كما في البحر وفي القهستاني إن الكراهة للفعل في هذه الأشياء أي إيقاع الصلاة فيها إلا الصلاة وفي الجلابي أنها تكره بسبب هذه الأفعال
So, beautify our external clothing before presenting ourselves in front of our Lord in salaah. The external beauty of imaamah for men.The ayah of Qur-an denoting the angels that came for Ahzaab and Badr were dressed with `imaamah. Hazrat Huzeifah r.a. reports that he was sent to spy the enemy on the night of Ahzaab and when returning he saw about 20 soldiers on horse, all of them had `imaamah on their head. He concluded that they were the angels that Allah Ta`ala mentions in the ayah of Ahzaab sending an invisible army.(Hayatus sahabah, Dalail-Baihaqi, Dure mansoor-suyuti, Tafsir Ibn Katheer, Tafsir Aloosi, etc):

That is why, contrary to what is being said, the beloved prophet SAW always had turban and encouraged turban for men around him. The beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam gifted some sahabahs turban and he himself tied these turbans around their head. Between them Ali r.a.(Baihaqi), Abdur Rahman bin `Awf(Abu Dawood) and Abdullah bin khazim r.a.(Abu Dawood;Hakim).Sahabah Ibn Umar r.a. who followed every foot step of the beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam always had a `imaamah on his head. And the sunnah instructed them to leave the remaining bit of the turban at the back of the head, between the back shoulders(Tirmizi;Shama`il).

So men should keep the sunnah of external beauty of imaamah over their topis.
