The beloved prophet Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam is a true prophet of Allah(God). Allah Taala sent him as the last prophet before the day of Judgement. The beloved prophet SAW said: ‘’The time of my coming and the upcoming day of Qiyamah is very close as these two fingers: he showed his index finger and the middle finger and spaced a little between them.’’(Bukhari) One of the miracles of the prophet SAW is that he was revealed with all the upcoming events from his era till before the end of the world. History does not record a man like Him when he stood on the mimbar from Fajr till Zohr describing the future history of mankind. Then he came down and prayed Zohr. Then he stood again after Zohr till Assr to elaborate more on the events. Then after Assr till maghrib he finished and closed the predicted story of mankind till before the Day of Judgement.(Muslim) The Sahabas present that day says that only those who had good memory could have kept all that have been said:

عَمْرَو بْنَ أَخْطَبَ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْفَجْرَ وَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتْ الظُّهْرُ فَنَزَلَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتْ الْعَصْرُ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى غَرَبَتْ الشَّمْسُ فَأَخْبَرَنَا بِمَا كَانَ وَبِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ فَأَعْلَمُنَا أَحْفَظُنَا مُسلم

The beloved prophet Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam only spoke on what he was being revealed from Allah Taala. Allah Ta`ala says:’’He does not speak out of his own desires. It is but revelation revealed to him.’’(53:3-4) In fact every single word pronounced by the beloved prophet SAW is pure wahi and revelation. In fact it is the prophet that will discern and tell his sahabas what is revealed as Qur-aan and what is his sayings.

Since the Qur-aan is the words of Allah Taala, we find suitable to mention the signs of the day of Qiyamah from the holy book: Allah Taala says: ‘’Are they waiting for the Hour(of doom) to come on them suddenly? And yet its signs have already come.’’(47:18) The major signs of Qiyamah mentioned in the holy Qur-aan are:

1. The splitting of the moon: ‘’The hour of doom has drawn near, and the moon has split asunder.’’(54:1)

It is reported on the authority Bukhari that the Pagans of Makkah requested the beloved prophet SAW to prove his prophecy. So the beloved prophet SAW showed them his truthfulness by influencing even the sky. The prophet SAW made the moon into two with the indication of his fingers. This miracle is uncomparable to others since this one take the parameter of the sky and the world could see the moon into two that time. That is why Allah Ta`ala mentioned it in the Qur-aan as a direct sign of Qiyamah.

2. The second is the Dabbah or the Animal. Allah Taala says: ‘’When the decree will be decided on them, then We will bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them that the people (infidels) did not believe in Our signs.’’(27:82) Under the tafseer of the ayah, hazrat Ibn Abbas r.a. says that ‘’Dabbah or the animal’’ will come before the day of judgement to talk on good and preach to people. (Ibn Katheer) The tafseer Qurtubi mentions that Abu Saeed Khudri and Ibn Umar r.a. says: ‘’When people will abadon to prech good and prevent evil, then the wrath of Allah will fall upon people. This is what is mentioned in the ayah:’’When the decree will be decided on them.’’

This shows how much it is important to continue doing the propagation of the good and preventing evil. If no human will do it, then Allah Ta`ala will send Animal to do it!

3. Yajooj and Majooj (Gog and Magog):

Yajooj and Majooj is a human race that existed well before Rasouloullah SAW, at the time of Zul Qarnain. They caused lots of mischief around them such that people requested Zul Qarnain to build a wall so as to imprison them alive. They are still living until today and they will be able to break their sealed walls before the day of Qiyamah. No one knows exactly their exact location and we are not prescribed to spend time locating it also.

Allah Ta`ala says: ‘’So they (Yajuj Majuj) were not able to climb it, nor were they able to make a hole in it. He(Zul Qarnain) said: ‘’This is a mercy of my Lord. Then, when the promise of my Lord will come, He will make it levelled to the ground.’’(18:97-98)

Zul Qarnain announced the liberation of Yajuj Majuj as a sign of qiyamah. In fact the beloved prophet SAW mentioned in a row the upcoming sighs of Qiyamah: ‘’The smoke, Dajjaal, the Animal, the sun will rise from the west, the coming of Isa a.s.(Jesus), then Gog and Magog(Yajuj Majuj),…’’(Muslim)

The population of Yajuj Majuj outnumber our world population a lot!

Our beloved prophet SAW said that from humanity, out of a thousand only one will go in Jannah. The sahabas expressed their grief and concern of how they would be that only one of a thousand to go jannah. Then the prophet SAW said: ‘’Take good news that it will be only one from you and a thousand will be from Yajuj Majuj.’’(Bukhari) Reported that they will only be able to level their walls when they will say INSHA ALLAH.(Ibn Majah)

The Qur-aan talks on their havocs they will cause on earth drinking a whole lake of water. In fact no one will be able to confront them. Although Isaa a.s.(Jesus) has finished the Dajjaal, but he will not be able to confront Yajuj Majuj.

فَبَيْنَمَا هُوَ كَذَلِكَ إِذْ أَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَى عِيسَى إِنِّي قَدْ أَخْرَجْتُ عِبَادًا لِي لَا يَدَانِ لِأَحَدٍ بِقِتَالِهِمْ فَحَرِّزْ عِبَادِي إِلَى الطُّورِ وَيَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ وَهُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَنْسِلُونَ فَيَمُرُّ أَوَائِلُهُمْ عَلَى بُحَيْرَةِ طَبَرِيَّةَ فَيَشْرَبُونَ مَا فِيهَا وَيَمُرُّ آخِرُهُمْ فَيَقُولُونَ لَقَدْ كَانَ بِهَذِهِ مَرَّةً مَاءٌ وَيُحْصَرُ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ عِيسَى وَأَصْحَابُهُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ رَأْسُ الثَّوْرِ لِأَحَدِهِمْ خَيْرًا مِنْ مِائَةِ دِينَارٍ لِأَحَدِكُمْ الْيَوْمَ فَيَرْغَبُ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ عِيسَى وَأَصْحَابُهُ فَيُرْسِلُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ النَّغَفَ فِي رِقَابِهِمْ فَيُصْبِحُونَ فَرْسَى كَمَوْتِ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ يَهْبِطُ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ عِيسَى وَأَصْحَابُهُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ مُسلم

In this hadith of Muslim shareef, the beloved prophet SAW said that Allah Ta`ala will reveal to Isaa a.s. that He has taken out such subordinates of His that no one will have the ability to fight them. So take my servants to the peak of Mountain Tur. Then the prophet Isaa a.s. and the muslims will make duas until the whole population of Yajuj Majuj will die.(Muslim)

Over here I want to express something. Reading this hadith we found that when the enemy is so strong that cannot be defeated, then take recourse to duas. Duas will defeat the enemy, such enemy that no one on earth will be able to defeat. So perform good actions and then use these good actions as waseelah to supplicate Allah Taala to relieve the ummah. As described in this hadith of Muslim Shareef, nothing will finish Yajuj Majuj, but the duas of muslims.

Today, muslims are facing indescribable torments and loss against the enemies. We should stand to defend our fellow muslim brothers and sisters. Especially if our neighbouring countries is being looted. But the scenario after Bosnia, Afghanistan, Cashmere, Syria, Myanmar, Central Africa, and so forth makes us reason that there is no military solution against the enemy. That is why there is no recourse but to the recourse of Isa a.s. and the muslims to take recourse to du`as.

Secondly, know that destruction and annihilation comes to muslims when our bad actions exceed our good actions. Every single muslim on this earth is concerned to that effect. Everyone of us is either a positive contributor to empowering the ummah or someone that will open the door to loot the ummah.

َ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُنَّ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ اسْتَيْقَظَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ النَّوْمِ مُحْمَرًّا وَجْهُهُ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدْ اقْتَرَبَ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هَذِهِ وَعَقَدَ سُفْيَانُ تِسْعِينَ أَوْ مِائَةً قِيلَ أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ صَحِيحٌ بُخَارِيٌّ

This hadith of Bukhari describe the concern and worry of the beloved prophet SAW waking up from his sleep announcing that today the Majuj Majuj have been able to open a circled finger amount from their walls. From there Hazrat Zainab bint Jahash r.a. asked Rasouloullah SAW about whether we would still perish if we had pious people amongst us. The beloved prophet SAW replied: ‘’YES, WHEN BAD ACTIONS EXCEED.’’(Bukhari)

Let us ponder upon this fact: How many percent of muslims are accomplishing the most important action of Islam: daily Salaah? Are we majority performing salaah or are we majority neglecting salaah?

With a daily contribution of 90% neglecting salaah and merely 5% to 10% performing salaah, we are contributing to our destruction. In fact this is the means of empowering enemies over us. Indeed only when we reach 51% musallis(of men and women), then we may say that we are able to stop our degeneration.

I ask those responsible of masjid and ulamas about this morning`s fikr : how many of you were concerned about the absence of the muslim men from the saffs of our Fajr salaah this morning in our masjid?

At the time of sahabas, a mere absent will rise concern and worry. And today we just put a back to the issue and carry on raising other flags.

Analysing a daily 90% neglecting of salaah, the ummah is diving directly to its destruction. No matter how many mujahideen you will send, there will be no success until most ummatis are praying their salaahs on time!

And furthermore is there only defence jihad in Islam? What about iqdami jihad? When has there been an initiative for an iqdami jihad from the ummah? Why no initiative on this issue? Don`t play with deen please.

The ummah is suffocating. No time to waste. That is why, as from today, accompany those who do gusht to bring muslims to pray in the masjid. You would contribute to the upliftment and well being of the ummah.
