Bismihi Ta`ala

*THE HAVOCKING RESULTS OF UNDER-VALUING POTENTIALS.*

The greatest wealth existing on the surface on the earth is the human potential. The intellect and action capacity of man defines the state of the world and divine retributions. Allah Ta`ala clearly state that the actions of man are lifted to the sky and then the end result of those actions come down to man.(Read Qur-aan: 32:5; 16:97) In exchange of good actions, God send down rain, bounties, security and well being or else, on the other hand, bad actions bring down drought, famine and wars. Since mostly bad actions prevail from muslims nowadays, mainly missing salaahs, that is why the chaotic scenario of the muslims` ummah are the news headlines. And know that Man and jinns(genies) are the key creations of the earth, so that Allah Ta`ala addresses them both as the ‘’Two heavy creations’’:

سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ الثَّقَلَان

‘’Soon we are going to spare Ourselves for you(to reckon your deeds) O two heavy species.’’(55:31)
Me and you, our daily actions, thoughts and judgements bring heavy results. Sometimes havocs. Know that the end results of man`s action affect his environment also. That is why the animal kingdom is concerned with human actions because they also suffers in case of a drought or a divine wrath. This explains also why the animal kingdom do istighfaar and duas for the muslims offering ‘protective’ good actions:
عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ قَالَ
ذُكِرَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلَانِ أَحَدُهُمَا عَابِدٌ وَالْآخَرُ عَالِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَضْلُ الْعَالِمِ عَلَى الْعَابِدِ كَفَضْلِي عَلَى أَدْنَاكُمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ وَأَهْلَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرَضِينَ حَتَّى النَّمْلَةَ فِي جُحْرِهَا وَحَتَّى الْحُوتَ لَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَى مُعَلِّمِ النَّاسِ الْخَيْرَ
ترمذي
The beloved prophet SAW described an alim compared to a non alim as the superiority of the prophet SAW to a simple sahabah. And also that Allah Ta`ala Himself, His Angels, the creations dwelling in the sky and also those creations living on earth even the ant in its hole and even the fish also all send peace and ask forgiveness upon one who teaches deen. (Tirmizi) 
Some commentators of this hadith noted that fish is mentioned here although it has no direct relation to the alim, but because the alim is a means for the whole creation to continue existing, then the whole creation makes duas maghfirat for that alim or alima. Note that the deen is the means for the existence of the world.
Since humans are decisive in their actions, then we need to channel the human potential towards the Truth of Islam. Because if human potential is spent on non Haqq or non Islamic efforts, then expect the greatest Havoc of Qiyamah. I have learnt the explanation of the following hadith under this thesis from Hazrat Mowlana Ibrahim Devla sahab Damat Barakatuhu:
عن أبي هريرة قال
بينما النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في مجلس يحدث القوم جاءه أعرابي فقال متى الساعة فمضى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يحدث فقال بعض القوم سمع ما قال فكره ما قال وقال بعضهم بل لم يسمع حتى إذا قضى حديثه قال أين أراه السائل عن الساعة قال ها أنا يا رسول الله قال فإذا ضيعت الأمانة فانتظر الساعة قال كيف إضاعتها قال إذا وسد الأمر إلى غير أهله فانتظر الساعة

The beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam said: ‘‘When the trust will be wasted, then wait for the doom day.’’ A Bedouin asked: ‘How will that be wasted?’ He answered: ‘‘When the affairs of deen will be entrusted in the hands of the inappropriate people, then wait for Qiyamah.’’(Bukhari)
Inappropriate people means people far from Islamic education. Hazrat Ibn Hajar r.a. comment on this hadith on the same angle:

وَمُنَاسَبَة هَذَا الْمَتْن لِكِتَابِ الْعِلْم أَنَّ إِسْنَاد الْأَمْر إِلَى غَيْر أَهْله إِنَّمَا يَكُون عِنْد غَلَبَة الْجَهْل وَرَفْع الْعِلْم
Hazrat Mowlana Ibrahim Devla sahab told us that when human potentials will not be honoured to be spent on deen, then it will be spent on other things than deen. Hence the level of deen and education of deen will be lowered until there will be no human capable of exerting on deen. And hence the issue is so serious that it will call for the doom of the universe.
Hence we should value and honour human potential to be spent on the works of deen of Allah. This is sunnah. Dishonouring the human potential merely for personal advantage  driven by political or administrative motives is not sunnah and is qualified as Zulm and sinful. The root of all splits is the underestimating and non caring of personalities of credible potentials in that particular deeni field.
The beloved prophet Muhammad Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam recognizing Khalid bin Waleed`s potential said that if Khalid would give his potential to Islam, then we would put him forward and honour him on others(Hayatus Sahabah):
أخرج الواقدي عن خالد رضي الله عنه قال: لمّا أراد الله بي ما أراد من الخير قذف في قلبي الإِسلام وحضرني رُشدي، فقلت: قد شهدت هذه المواطن كلَّها على محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم فليس في موطن أشهده إلا أنصرفُ وأنا أرى في نفسي أني مُوضِعٌ في غير شيء وأنَّ محمداً سيظهره.. فأنا في ذلك إذ دخلت مكّة في عمرة القضيّة، فغيَّبت ولم أشهد دخوله، وكان أخي الوليد بن الوليد قد دخل مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في عمرة القضيّة، فطلبني فلم يجدني، فكتب إِليَّ كتاباً فإذا فيه:
«بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم: أما بعد: فإني لم أرَ أَجب من ذهاب رأيك عن الإِسلام، وعقلك عقلك ومثل الإِسلام جهله أحد؟ وقد سألني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عنك، وقال: أين خالد؟ فقلت: يأتي الله به. فقال: «مثله جهل الإِسلام؟ ولو كان جعل نكايته وجِدِّه مع المسلمين كان خيراً له، ولقدّمناه على غيره» فاستدرك يا أخي ما قد فاتك من مواطن صالحة».

In fact, a good leader value human potentials more than gold, diamonds and precious metals. Once Hazrat Umar r.a. told the sahabahs to make a wish. Some wished to have a house amount of wealth of gold or diamonds so as to spend it in the path of Allah. But hazrat Umar r.a. said that I wished I had that house filled with personalities of potentials like Abu Ubeidah bin Jarrah r.a., Mu`az bin Jabal, Saalim Mowlah Abu Huzeifah and Huzeifah bin Yamaan r.a.’’(Mustadrak Haakim)
حدثنا أبو بكر بن إسحاق ، أنا بشر بن موسى ، ثنا عبد الله بن يزيد المقري ، ثنا حيوة بن شريح ، أخبرني أبو صخر ، أن زيد بن أسلم حدثه ، عن أبيه ، عن عمر رضي الله عنه أنه قال لأصحابه : « تمنوا » ، فقال بعضهم : أتمنى لو أن هذه الدار مملوءة ذهبا أنفقه في سبيل الله وأتصدق ، وقال رجل : أتمنى لو أنها مملوءة زبرجدا  وجوهرا فأنفقه في سبيل الله وأتصدق ، ثم قال عمر : « تمنوا » فقالوا : ما ندري يا أمير المؤمنين ، فقال عمر : « أتمنى لو أنها مملوءة رجالا مثل أبي عبيدة بن الجراح ، ومعاذ بن جبل ، وسالم مولى أبي حذيفة ، وحذيفة بن اليمان »

All this to tell you that the main issue is that elderly potentials of Tabligh were sanctioned in their honour, function in Nizamuddeen and also from international Ijtimas in the past due to their stand they had. This was unjust and caused a ‘Khafa’ from Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam to the one sitting in Nizamuddeen. Tabligh work is not a political rule but rather to supplicate others and gather all potentials to benefit the Ummah. This is one of the split reasoning.
The beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam described human potentials as precious as gold mines and silver mines:   
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِحَدِيثٍ يَرْفَعُهُ
قَالَ النَّاسُ مَعَادِنُ كَمَعَادِنِ الْفِضَّةِ وَالذَّهَبِ خِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ خِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ إِذَا فَقُهُوا وَالْأَرْوَاحُ جُنُودٌ مُجَنَّدَةٌ فَمَا تَعَارَفَ مِنْهَا ائْتَلَفَ وَمَا تَنَاكَرَ مِنْهَا اخْتَلَفَ
مسلم
‘’People are mines just like silver and gold mines…’’(Muslim)
The effort of Tabligh is the digging in the mine of people. Gasht, Taleem, etc.  
Sanctioning the elders and promoting the new abiding saathis because they abide to your politics is wrong and against sunnah.
In a dream, the beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam wished to give his miswaak to a younger potential around him. But He was instructed to give that honour to the elderly one.(Bukhari)
عن نافع عن ابن عمر أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال أراني أتسوك بسواك فجاءني رجلان أحدهما أكبر من الآخر فناولت السواك الأصغر منهما فقيل لي كبر فدفعته إلى الأكبر منهما

The one sitting in Nizamuddeen should know that lineage is not enough to enhance any fikr of deen. But applying Sunnah, fikr on the nahj of sunnah and pure sahih education is needed. When M Ilyas r.a. sat there, then he put 2 very educated young alims in front of him and told them that if ever he errs, then they should correct him instantly.
I councel any alim sitting on the mimbar of Tabligh to talk only what have been written in the revealed texts, Quraan tafseers, explanation of hadiths, written in tabligh books or said by our previously accepted ulamas. Nothing more.
And also know that lineage is not sufficient for acceptance. The deen of Allah is already established. You have to colour yourself with its colour. Else lineage is nothing. The hadith below shows clearly that the Khalifah was from the descendant of Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam but the prophet negated this nobleness due to his non taqwa and non sunnah lifestyle(Abu Dawood):
ٍ حَدَّثَنِي الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ الْعَنْسِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ
كُنَّا قُعُودًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَذَكَرَ الْفِتَنَ فَأَكْثَرَ فِي ذِكْرِهَا حَتَّى ذَكَرَ فِتْنَةَ الْأَحْلَاسِ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا فِتْنَةُ الْأَحْلَاسِ قَالَ هِيَ هَرَبٌ وَحَرْبٌ ثُمَّ فِتْنَةُ السَّرَّاءِ دَخَنُهَا مِنْ تَحْتِ قَدَمَيْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ مِنِّي وَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَإِنَّمَا أَوْلِيَائِي الْمُتَّقُونَ
ابو داود
‘‘’…a person from my descendant, thinking he is from me, but he is not from me. Because it is only the pious ones–mutaqins- that are mine.’’(Abu Dawood)

I have written this not to ill comment on anyone. But because we are humans and are prone to mistakes. And so that no more such undervaluing mistakes are not done in any sphere of deen around the world. Because undervaluing potential will deprive the Ummah from benefits of these potentials. And at the end, this will bring qiyamah to that particular sphere of deen.
