Bismihi Ta`ala
*THE DECEITFUL WORLD.*
*The Qur-aan advise us to be precautious when living in this world because its temptations are deceitful.* فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُور*Let not the life of this world deceive you and let not the traitor(satan) deceive you.(35:5)*
*That is why when investing your time in worldly efforts, then know that you will get very little return and it will be very temporary. Some people finished all their time of their lives behind family, behind their work and amassing wealth. Well, the sunnah teaches us moderation in family time, moderation in working and then spend time and money in the path of Allah also.*
*I have seen people investing their lives behind pleasing family and today no one remember them inside their graves.*
*Others sacrificed their being to up bring their children and then bring the sons in his business and in the final stage of his life, one son stole the business capital of the father while father still healthy and alive. The son kept going hajj and umrah afterwards…leaving the father die in poverty.*
*Others were always behind intimacy of women and then were deceived by deceitful women.*
*I have seen Mutawallis that work with a non real ghostly committee just to ensure their seat and to sit and eat from masjid waqf revenue. Complete opacity on revenue and expenditure of the masjid. I have noted such opacity in masjid la rue desforges and malartic. Well they are the most shameful persons in the society who have chosen masjid to do their business.*
*Alhamdulillah an exemplary model of transparency of accounts that all masjids and organizations should follow is SSMS society of Taher Bagh who open books to all its members at every committee occasion.*
*Opacity is used to do cover up of massive frauds.*
*The power, the pleasure and assets of this world is temporary and unreal.*
*So some past nations spent their whole life behind these worldly objectives and today we find only their ruins. The pyramids of Pharaoh lies idle in Egypt.*
*While some few people stayed away completely from social inter actions. These were priests and nuns in the old age.* وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ابْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ رِضْوَانِ اللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا *Allah Ta`ala clearly says that he did not prescribe a retreat life nor a non family life. But rather some monks adopted this motivation to avoid over lust of worldly possessions. But know that the beauty of Islam bring our lifely trend on a moderation of everything. No extremes in Islam.*
*Islam prescribe self sufficiency of earning a living, provide for wife and children and be wealthy to help the poor with Zakaat and Sadaqah.*
*Sahabahs were still working in their fields and in the market place when the beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam left them.*
*And they were also preparing to spare some time in their year to strive in the path of Allah:*قال رسول اللهإن لكل أمة رهبانية ورهبانية هذه الأمة الجهاد فى سبيل الله (البيهقى فى شعب الإيمان عن أنس) *The beloved prophet Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam said: All nation have had a retreat way and the retreat of my Ummah is to strive in the path of Allah.(Ahmad)*
*The necessity to balance the scale of lust for deceitful world is to answer the tashkeel of going in the path of Allah yearly.*
Sitting on the ground, not giving name and not going out in the path of Allah are proof that worldly lust has outweigh the spirituality of aakhirah. Hence we need to break that rust and adjust by going in the path of Allah.*
*If we choose stagnancy-WHETHER YOU ARE A HAZRAT JI OR NOT-then wait for some other people to take the fikr of deen ahead, leaving you behind.*
*So first educate yourself both deen and dunya. Keep time for salaah and social interaction. Then be self sufficient with a healthy body to avoid begging. Then strive in the path of Allah. Then form a family and take out some time yearly to go in the path of Allah.*
*In this way, at the end of your life, you would not be deceived by the non return of worldly investments. Because you would be sure that your investment for deen will be stocks awaiting for you after your death and these yields are guaranteed and eternal.*
