*TERRORISM AGAINST MUSLIMS.*
*If you shoot at defenceless people in the Masjids or you send white phosphorous from planes upon defenceless civilians, then this is a cowardice act. Because you have assaulted innocent defenceless and unarmed people. This cowardice acts are condemned by law as terrorism. Not murder.*
*The muslim families of the victims of New Zealand should undertake legal procedures of using effect of Terrorism act against the assaulters.*
*Elsewhere in the world, whereby assault is done on muslims, terrorism act should be used against the war mongers and assaulters.*
*AN ISRAA-EEL ASSAULT?*
*The style, the arms and the audacity to kill of the assaulter bring us to think that all this scenario is a well programmed Jewish assault. The Qur-aan talk of the audacity of the jews to assassinate prophets. Only the jews had that audacity to lift their wooed hands on the best and harmless humans. Prophets do not err and are sinless. And yet, the jews plot against them. They plotted to assassinate Jesus, but God saved him and elevated him above the sky. They poisoned prophet Muhammad Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam and his sahabahs. Looking at the stinking animalistic instinct of the killer, it seems that it may be orchestred by Israa-eel. The authorities and the research organizations should look in that angle.* *Be intelligent musallis.*
*It is not the first time that assassins came to kill muslims in masjids. The first time was when Abu Lu-Lu assaulted hazrat Umar bin Khattaab r.a. in the back during fajr salaah. The Sahabahs tackled him down although some lost their lives. So we should be intelligent musallis.*
*Intelligent to first be able to defend oneself. Under legal framework of his country, a muslim should train himself to defend himself with any legal arm allowed in that environment. So going Masjid, you should be equipped with self defence.*
*Intelligent to make exit doors near the mihraab. Since the accumulation of musallis are by the mihraab, then it is important to have exit doors there in case of an emergency assault.*
*Wall pillars should be made in the Masjid construction plan. When the jews assaulted the Masjidul Aqsa, the musallis had no place to hide the bullets but behind the pillars of the Masjid. The Masjid An Nabawi had pillars from the very beginning and still hold its exact place there.*
*Intelligent to set up security doors/locked door detectors etc before entering the masjid. The masjid may rent services of security companies for safety of the musallis. A security committee may be set up to counter any assaults on the masjid.*
*Then know that in case of dangerous environment, where fear is overwhelming, it is permissible to pray salaah at home. In case of Jum`ah, then we suggest that two khutbahs/jamaats are done one after the other. While half of the congregation performing Jum`ah, the other half stand in security of the Masjid outside and at the back. When the first jamaat finished, the musallis who already prayed may take security posts and the second half may perform their jum`ahs. We need two different imams for these two jamaats.*
*You see at the time of Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam, Fajr was done nearer to sehri. But when assault was done on hazrat Umar r.a. in the dark early morning, then later hazrat Uthmaan r.a. pushed the Fajr salaah to a time that day light was seen, closer to sunrise. It was Fajr time still, but in a more enlightened time. As such, we should try to adjust our salaahs to ensure security of musallis provided done in its prescribed time.*
Sharhe Ma`aniyul Athaar
فَلَمَّا قُتِلَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَسْفَرَ بِهَا عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ . قِيلَ لَهُ قَدْ يُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَرَادَ بِذَلِكَ وَقْتَ الدُّخُولِ فِيهَا , لَا وَقْتَ الْخُرُوجِ مِنْهَا , حَتَّى يَتَّفِقَ ذَلِكَ وَمَا رَوَيْنَا قَبْلَهُ , وَيَكُونُ قَوْلُهُ ” ثُمَّ أَسْفَرَ بِهَا عُثْمَانُ ” أَيْ لِيَكُونَ خُرُوجُهُمْ فِي وَقْتٍ يَأْمَنُونَ فِيهِ وَلَا يَخَافُونَ فِيهِ أَنْ يُغْتَالُوا كَمَا اغْتِيلَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهشرح معاني الاثار
*Finally, muslims feeling danger around them should be more equipped with arms. Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam left the world without a cent. But he had lots of arms in his possession.*
*In an environment where licence of firearms are rampant, then you should try to own a firearm for your selfdefence. In an environment where firearms are not rampant, then keep a sharp arm. Note that Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi used to stand in Khutbah with a stick, a sword and leaning to a trunk. It is sunnah for men above 40 years to walk with a stick.*
*Khair, Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam standing on mimbar told us :*
‘*And prepare from whatever means you can against non muslim assaults’(Qur-aan 8:60)*
*Then Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam added: And know that the power is with the throwing weapon armery. Power is the throwing weapon armery. Power is the throwing weapon armery. (Muslim)*
عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ شُفَيٍّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُاسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ{ وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ }أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُمسلم
*Islam has not taught us to become defenceless sheep waiting to be gunned. Islam taught us to defend ourselves, our family and our wealth with appropriate means. Islam taught us to be prepared for any eventuality. And this is not replying hate with hate. But it is called the obligation of self defence.*
عن أنس رضي الله عنه قالكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أحسن الناس وأجود الناس وأشجع الناس قال وقد فزع أهل المدينة ليلة سمعوا صوتا قال فتلقاهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على فرس لأبي طلحة عري وهو متقلد سيفه فقال لم تراعوا لم تراعوا ثم قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وجدته بحرا يعني الفرسبخاري
*Reported in Bukhari that Annas r.a. said that Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam gathered all these qualities altogether: the most handsome, the most generous and the most courageous. Once there was a strange sound coming from the off limit of Madinah. Sahabahs got frightened of an assault of the enemy. They went out and they found Rasouloullah SAW alone already arrived at that spot with his sword around his neck on a horse. It was the wind that made that sound. He then praised the speed of that horse. (Bukhari)*
*Courage is the bone stand of a muslim. Courage in front of the enemy is the sign of imaan. Courage is missing in our era.*
*Nonetheless, if by defending yourself, musallis, your family and your wealth you found death, then insha Allah you will be a martyr.*
*We found that those who had the courage to leave their work and family to go in jamaat have more courage to tackle dangerous situation. During Gujrat riot 2001, no one dared to go out in the curfew to bring muslim brothers and sisters killed on the streets. No one dared risk their lives for this religious obligation of ghusl and salaah/dafan. Only jamaat saathis went out and pick up those corpses and completed their burial rituals.*
*Those who had courage to leave their house for jamaat will dare stand up with courage to defend themselves and the society. Join them when going out in the path of Allah. Else care for them.*
*Finally let the world see the beautiful peaceful activity of muslims in their mosques. We Only pray passively in front of Allah/God. No terrorism activity therein. Everyone will wish to meet our Lord and taste death in the sanctity of the House of God: Mosque.*
