If I personally sight the new moon but the Jummah mosque does not accept my testimony, should I fast or should I and my family celebrate eid? For me I would be sinning since it is forbidden to fast on the day of Eid.

If one happens to sight the moon alone on a clear sky and his testimony was not accepted, then he should fast with everybody and do eid with everyone the day after.
