I intend to go Umrah soon. Is it recommended to go to Masjid Al -Aqsa first then to Madina and Mecca or can I go directly to Mecca and Madina? What are the benefits of going to Al-Aqsa?

Better to go Al Aqsa first. Visit the masjid and do 2 rakaats there. There is sahih hadith on that there is forgiveness on that. Then make niyat of Umrah in Masjid Aqsa before leaving. That is put the ihram of your umrah there. Then proceed to Makkah. Ihraam there further assure your forgiveness and jannah. Then after your umrah, do visit Rasouloullah SAW and the masjid Nabawi of Madinah Munwarah.
