If a woman has jewellery on which zakaat is compulsory, should she take out zakaat or her husband if she does not work?

It is her responsibility alone to take out the zakaat of her jewelry. With her permission, it is permissible for the husband to acquit her zakaat. If the husband is not paying her zakaat, then she will need to cut a piece of gold from the jewelry to acquit the zakaat. She may take out one gram for every 40 grams of gold.
