During taraweeh time, I got severe diarrhea and could not stay at masjid to pray taraweeh. I hence missed all 20 rakaats of taraweeh. Before sehri, I prayed 8 rakaats tahajjud…Will these tahajjud salaats be accepted even though I missed taraweeh?

No. Tahajjud is different than taraweeh. You should have made the 20 rakaats taraweeh that same night at home. Anyhow, do istighfaar and tawbah now.
