*OBLIGATORY TAKBEER OF TASHREEQ.*

*As from 9th Zul Hijjah Fajr, men and women, whether in travel or at home, they should read the Takbeers after Farz salaahs. Men aloud after Farz jamaats. *And women SILENTLY after their individual salaahs at home.* *A masbooq or someone missed rakaats will also read compulsorily after salaam, but not aloud.*

عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال

كنت أعرف انقضاء صلاة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالتكبير

*Hazrat Ibn Abbaas r.a. said that I knew about the termination of salaah when I heard the Takbeer.(Bukhari)*

*Muhaqiqeen ulamas said that Ibn Abaas r.a. was about 9 years old in hajj and hence this riwayat is brought to the days of Tashreeq coming.*

*Some ulamas derived the Wajib Takbeers after salaahs from the ayats : “_Recite the name of Allah during the given number of days._”(2:203)* 

 واذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِي أيّامٍ مَعْدُوداتٍ﴾ [البقرة ٢٠٣] وقَوْله تَعالى ﴿ويَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أيّامٍ مَعْلُوماتٍ﴾ [الحج ٢٨] عَلى القَوْلِ بِأنَّ كِلَيْهِما أيّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ، وقِيلَ المَعْدُوداتُ أيّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ والمَعْلُوماتُ أيّامُ عَشْرِ ذِي الحِجَّةِ وتَمامُهُ فِي البَحْرِ

 لكن المرأة تخافت، ويجب على مقيم اقتدى بمسافر

*So those celebrating Eid ul Adhaa on Sunday 10th July, they will start the compulsory Takbeer from tomorrow Saturday Fajr(9th July)  insha Allah until Wednesday(13th July) Assr.*

*From 9th Zul Hijjah Fajr until 13th Zul Hijjah Assr.*

*The takbeer is :*

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّهُ وَاَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ

*Allahou Akbar Allahou Akbar Laa ilaaha illallahou Wallahou Akbar Allahou Akbar Walillahil Hamd.*(Shami;Mustadrak Hakim)

*It should be read ONCE only.*

*Normally, best to do zikrullah silently. But seeing the ni’mats of hidayat, a perfect completed deen, revival of the rituals of Hajj, the swirling of Muslims around the Ka’bah , the spilling of blood  of the animals of Qurbani and an unaltered relationship with Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam linked to Ibrahim as leave us with lots of happiness and celebrating this victory with Takbeer.*

*The following ayah has this expression:*

“*_So that they witness benefits for them, and RECITE ALLAH’S NAME IN THE SPECIFIED DAYS, over the provision He gave them from the cattle. .So, eat thereof and feed the distressed, the poor_.. “*(22:27)

سورة الحج (٢٢): الآية ٢٨]

لِيَشْهَدُوا مَنافِعَ لَهُمْ ويَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أيّامٍ مَعْلُوماتٍ عَلى ما رَزَقَهُمْ مِن بَهِيمَةِ الأنْعامِ فَكُلُوا مِنها وأطْعِمُوا البائِسَ الفَقِيرَ 

*Although the above ayah is for Hajj, but some mufassireen brought it for non Hajis also:*

القرطبي

ويَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أيّامٍ مَعْلُوماتٍ عَلى ما رَزَقَهُمْ مِن بَهِيمَةِ الأنْعامِ «٢»»، ولا خِلافَ أنَّ المُرادَ بِهِ النَّحْرُ، وكانَ النَّحْرُ فِي اليَوْمِ الأوَّلِ وهُوَ يَوْمُ الأضْحى والثّانِي والثّالِثِ

*If forgot to read Takbir after salaam, then within seconds time elapse, one should read them. Else if time elapsed, and then one remembers, then do istighfaar. Because it has no qaza.*
