*FARSIGHTED PRINCIPLES.*

*To construct relationship, we need farsightedness. The ummah need it because we are prescribed by Sharia to be one connected ummah. We should be linked with each other with care, love, affection and defence. We are supposed to act collectively and synchronize our plan and decisions.*

عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا عَقْلَ كَالتَّدْبِيرِ وَلَا وَرَعَ كَالْكَفِّ وَلَا حَسَبَ كَحُسْنِ الْخُلُقِابن ماجة
*Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam said to Abu Zar r.a.: ‘’The is no intelligence like careful planification. And no piety like abstinence. And no nobleness like good manners.’’(Ibn Majah)**To achieve collective coherence, the ummah need  farsightedness, closeness and communication.*

عن سعيد بن أبي سعيد المقبري عن أبي هريرةعن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال إن الدين يسر ولن يشاد الدين أحد إلا غلبه فسددوا وقاربوا وأبشروا واستعينوا بالغدوة والروحة وشيء من الدلجة بخاري
*Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam said:‘’Verily the deen is easy. And no one act in extremism with the deen but the deen will have upper hand over him(to moderate the deen). So align with each other, come close with each other and give glad tidings to each other. And look for help from some effort in the morning, in the afternoon and also a little time at tahajjud time.’’(Bukhari)*

*Try to talk positive with each other, communicate, bring closeness and be honest with each other. Good constructive talk is missing nowadays.*

  *Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Wasallam encouraged us to ponder first then plan the best. After planning for the best, then talk with the best words. ‘’Weigh before you talk’’.*

*Because some words cause scars to the body until end of breath. The body is supposed to work with coherence and not to commit self injury. If an infection arose in the body, then care should be taken to treat it internally and ‘’not to slit out of the body’’. It has been a traditional practice in the past for muslim leaders to meet in Makkah before Hajj so that to sit and talk about how to proceed for the betterment of the ummah.*

*This is constructive meeting and not mere flying talks.*

*One of the principle of constructive relationship is to avoid flying talks of ‘’delicate diverge issues.’’* *Hazrat Mowlana Ilyas r.a. set the principle that during spending time in jamaat, one should avoid difference of mazhabs, different political opinions, different sickness of the ummah, etc. This is proven from sunnah to avoid fruitless flying talk of diverged issues.* 

*Reported in Bukhari that once there was a fighting incident between a muhajir and an ansaar.*

*Each one of them called their fellow groups to help them. Rasouloullah Swalallahou` Alaihi Wasallam came to calm them. Some sahabahs tried to explain the reason behind the fight.*

*But Rasouloullah Swalallahou `Alaihi Sallam said: ‘’Leave it.(Don’t talk about it). It is filthy.’’ Meaning that bringing the ‘’diverge’’ issue will further worsen the situation from both sides. That is why in jamaat, we should not talk of ikhtilaaf happening between elders. Just like we should not talk of politics, mazhabs, etc.*
قال حفظناه من عمرو بن دينار قال سمعت جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما يقولكنا في غزاة فكسع رجل من المهاجرين رجلا من الأنصار فقال الأنصاري يا للأنصار وقال المهاجري يا للمهاجرين فسمعها الله رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ما هذا فقالوا كسع رجل من المهاجرين رجلا من الأنصار فقال الأنصاري يا للأنصار وقال المهاجري يا للمهاجرين فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دعوها فإنها منتنة قال جابر وكانت الأنصار حين قدم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أكثر ثم كثر المهاجرون بعد فقال عبد الله بن أبي أوقد فعلوا والله لئن رجعنا إلى المدينة ليخرجن الأعز منها الأذل فقال عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه دعني يا رسول الله أضرب عنق هذا المنافق قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دعه لا يتحدث الناس أن محمدا يقتل أصحابه بخاري*From the same hadith, rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam took a political decision not to execute the chief of munafiq. Because the general public think that he is muslim and hence this will cast a negative image of muslims killing their own muslim person.*

*When our elders are having it, this issue should not be debated in public.* 

*When reprimanding a fellow muezzin, a revert muslim worker, then do it administratively, not publicly.*

*Because hazrat Umar r.a. said when the animal is wounded in the forest, then it becomes prey for other carnivores. When you would intimidate a fellow muslim brother or sister in public, then other religion will come propose him/her to leave their religion(Na`ouzoubillah) and adopt theirs.*
