Bismihi Ta’ala
*Effective protection duas against all harms:*
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
*Arouzoubikalimaatillahit tammaati min sharri maa khalaq.(Muslim)*
*I seek protection by the perfect words of Allah against all harms that He has created*.
صحيح مسلم – (
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا لَقِيتُ مِنْ عَقْرَبٍ لَدَغَتْنِي الْبَارِحَةَ قَالَ أَمَا لَوْ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ تَضُرَّكَ
*3 times in morning/after maghrib*:
باسم اللَّهِ الَّذِي لا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الأرْضِ ولا فِي السَّماءِ، وهُوَ السَّمِيعُ العَلِيمُ
*Bismillahilazi laa yadourru ma’asmihi shai-oun fil ardi wa laa fis samaa wa houwas sami’ul ‘alim.*
سمعتُ عثمانَ يقولُ: سمعتُ رسولَ الله -ﷺ – يقولُ:» من قال: باسمِ اللهِ الذي لا يَضُرُّ مع اسمِهِ شيءٌ في الأرضِ ولا في السَّماء وهو السَّميعُ العليمُ، ثلاثَ مراتٍ، لم تُصِبْه فَجأةُ بلاءٍ حتى يُصبِحَ، ومن قالها حينَ يُصبِحُ، ثلاثَ مراتٍ، لم تُصِبْهُ فَجأةُ بلاءٍ حتى
يُمسيَ»،
سنن ابي داود
*A reliable du`a for protection that Hazrat Abu Darda r.a. relied on the assurance of this du`a to deny anyone informing him that his house was burnt. Finally they found that the whole neighbourhood was burnt except Abu Darda`s house. Hazrat Abu Darda r.a. then said that his house cannot burn because the beloved prophet SAW taught him this du`a that he read in the morning:*
*To be read after Fajr and after Maghrib against all calamities:*
أَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّيْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ أَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيْمِ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ وَ مَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ، وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ، أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ، وَ أَنَّ اللّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا، أَللّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِيْ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا، إِنَّ رَبِّيْ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ.

*Allahoumma anta rabbi laa ilaaha illaa anta, ‘alaika tawakkaltou wa anta rabboul’arshil kareem, maa shaa Allahou kaan wa maa lam yasha’ lam yakoun, wa laa Hawla wa laa qouwwata illaa billaahil ‘aliyyil ‘azweem, a’alamou annal laaha ‘alaa koulli shai in qadeer, wa annal laaha qad aHaatwa bi koulli shai in ‘ilman. *O Allah ! You are my Rabb, there is no deity besides You. I put my trust in You and You are the Rabb of the noble Throne. Whatever Allah wishes, happens. And whatever He does not wish, will not happen. And there is no power or defense except Allah`s, the most High, the Greatest of all. I know that definitely Allah has power over everything and that Allah has encompassed everything in knowledge. O Allah, I ask You protection against the evils of my nafs, and against the evils of all living things, that You only have complete power over them.
