Bismihi Ta’ala
*_A TEST FROM ALLAH TA’’ALA. NOT A PUNISHMENT._*
*Sometimes what happens around us, we tend to refer it as a punishment of Allah Ta’ala or a missing in our a’maals. O my dearest brothers and sisters of South Africa, you have hosted darul ulooms, masajids, tabligh jamaats, islamic centres, donation initiatives and so on. May Allah Ta’ala accept all of these. In fact, it is these sawaabs that will stay. The rest worldly possessions are ash and will be blown away with the wind of time.*
*_Know that our beloved prophet Muhammad Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam was sinless and yet endured difficulties of losing all his children except one, his cheek was slit opened, his molar teeth broken, his finger hurt and so many other difficulties._*
*Know my fellow brothers and sisters of South Africa that i drank your water of Zakarya source and the water of ilm from your land. I am grateful to you people lots of khair. Your land is mubarak, your deeni initiatives are mubarak.*
*Lootings, theft, losing family members, losing ground happens as a test in the destiny of man. But we should not be despondent nor should we change the pattern and colours of our deen. There is no colour better than colours of the deen of Allah Ta’ala(Surah Baqarah;verse 137*)
سورة البقرة (٢): آية ١٣٨]صِبْغَةَ اللَّهِ ومَن أحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ صِبْغَةً ونَحْنُ لَهُ عابِدُونَ“
*So continue on the beautiful path of deen that you have started. Alhamdulillah your darul ulooms have seedlings in other countries Alhamdulillah.*
*_So this is you people true assets. Because everything is going to finish one day and only the Magnificence of Allah Ta’ala that will stay.(Surah Rahmaan)_*
[سورة الرحمن (٥٥): الآيات ٢٦ الى ٢٨]كُلُّ مَن عَلَيْها فانٍ (٢٦) ويَبْقى وجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الجَلالِ والإكْرامِ (٢٧) فَبِأيِّ آلاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ (٢٨)
*So every difficulty is not a punishment. Rather a test. To see if you continue your good deeds in difficulties or not.*
[سورة العنكبوت (٢٩): الآيات ١٠ الى ١١]ومِنَ النّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ آمَنّا بِاللَّهِ فَإذا أُوذِيَ فِي اللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتْنَةَ النّاسِ كَعَذابِ اللَّهِ ولَئِنْ جاءَ نَصْرٌ مِن رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إنّا كُنّا مَعَكُمْ أوَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأعْلَمَ بِما فِي صُدُورِ العالَمِينَ
“*Some people wrongfully treat the defeat of life as the punishment of Allah.”(29:11)*
*You see Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam was wounded, lost his beloved uncle Hazrat Hamzah ra in Uhud. Yet, he never gave up, nor did he questioned his way of life. I doubt not you people Ikhlaas. Tests come to strengthen us and make us ponder to improve ourselves.*
[سورة الحج (٢٢): آية ١١]ومِنَ النّاسِ مَن يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ عَلى حَرْفٍ فَإنْ أصابَهُ خَيْرٌ اطْمَأنَّ بِهِ وإنْ أصابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ انْقَلَبَ عَلى وجْهِهِ خَسِرَ الدُّنْيا والآخِرَةَ ذلِكَ هُوَ الخُسْرانُ المُبِينُ
*In Surah Hajj, Allah Ta’ala remind us that we should not worship Him on an edge. That is we get happy when we are well off. But we abandon and become despondent when we get tested.**So beloved brothers and sisters get rid of pride, get rid of superficialness and see what is missing from the sunnah of Rasouloullah Swalallahou Alaihi Wasallam in us.*
*_Even if we are being looted, know that Alhamdulillah our imaan is there. And where there is imaan, there is hope that Allah Ta’ala can make a new dawn on a new horizon._**Hazrat Mowlana Ilyas ra used to read the following ayah with great excitement and hope:*
[سورة الرحمن (٥٥): الآيات ٢٩ الى ٣٠]يَسْئَلُهُ مَن فِي السَّماواتِ والأرْضِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ (٢٩) فَبِأيِّ آلاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ (٣٠)
“*Each day, Allah has a different approach.”(55:30)*
*And remember that after every difficulty, there are facilities ahead. *
سورة الشرح (٩٤): الآيات ٥ الى ٦]فَإنَّ مَعَ العُسْرِ يُسْرًا (٥) إنَّ مَعَ العُسْرِ يُسْرًا (٦)
All this to tell you that it is a test from Allah Ta’ala. Not a punishment.
